Robert Badinter

Robert Badinter a former French minister of justice and president of the Constitutional Council of France, is currently a French senator. An attorney and advocate against the death penalty, he is the author 11 books, among them Abolition: One Man's Battle Against the Death Penalty and Free and Equal: Emancipating France’s Jews, 1789-1791.
